Garden Games

I was surprised during the panel discussion of "Where Do the Children Play" the number of parents who admitted to not knowing where to start to get their children outside to play. Start a garden! Most children love to be in the garden and be a part of the process. I found a great article at http://www.kidsgardening.com/2007.kids.garden.news/oct/pg1.html#res that offers some great ideas and photos to inspire play in the garden. Although many kids can find ways to go exploring in their yard all by themselves, there's nothing that compares to seeing someone they love enjoying the garden too.
